Terms for paid plans

Draft, last updated 23 October 2026. This page is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Items in [square brackets] are placeholders that the operator still has to fill in.

1. Scope and who we are

These terms apply to all paid plans on agentsbyjob.com ("AgentsByJob", "we", "us"). AgentsByJob is operated by [FULL NAME], [STREET ADDRESS], [POSTCODE CITY], Switzerland, as a sole proprietorship ([UID/VAT NUMBER if any]). "You" means the business that buys a plan. Free listings and general use of the website are covered by the terms of use in the imprint. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

These terms apply in place of any terms of your own, even if you refer to them in an order or purchase order. Any departures from these terms must be agreed in writing (email is enough).

2. Business customers only

Paid plans are sold only to businesses. By completing a purchase you confirm that you are acting for a company, organisation or self-employed business, not as a consumer, and that you are authorised to bind that business. Consumer protection rules that apply only to consumers, such as a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts, therefore do not apply. Visitors who use the directory never pay us.

3. Plans and what they include

The current prices and features are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. In summary:

3.1 Verified listing: USD 149, one-time

3.3 Sponsored comparison or use case page: USD 490, one-time

3.4 Agency partner: USD 149 per month

4. Editorial independence and labelling

5. Your content and our right to refuse or remove listings

You confirm that the information, names, logos and materials you give us are accurate and that you have the right to let us use them. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, edit, format and publish them on AgentsByJob and in related promotion for as long as the listing is online. You must not make misleading or unlawful claims, and you must not use the Verified badge for a product other than the one we tested or after the badge has been removed.

We may refuse an order or a listing, or remove a listing or placement, at our reasonable discretion. This applies in particular if the product is unlawful, deceptive or harmful, if it does not fit the directory, if information is false, or if you breach these terms. If we reject a listing before delivering the plan, we refund you in full (section 8).

6. Ordering and contract formation

You order through the submit form and pay through Stripe's hosted Checkout. The contract is formed when your payment succeeds, subject to our review of your submission. We normally review submissions and get in touch within 2 business days. Stripe sends you a receipt or invoice by email.

7. Prices, VAT and billing

8. Refunds and cancellation

Refund policy at a glance

  • Verified listing: full refund if you ask before the test starts. No refund once the report has been delivered.
  • Sponsored page: full refund if you ask before the page is published. No refund after publication.
  • Monthly plans (Featured, Agency partner): cancel any time, effective at the end of the paid period. No refunds for partial months.
  • If we reject your listing or cannot deliver the plan, we refund you in full.

9. Warranties and limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable care. We do not guarantee any particular traffic, ranking, visibility, number of leads or business results. The directory relies on third-party information and may contain errors. Test results reflect the product version and conditions on the test date.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to a paid plan is limited to the amount you paid us for that plan in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. These limits do not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, or to any other liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Swiss law (in particular Art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations). We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at hosting or payment providers.

You are responsible for the content you give us. You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from that content, such as claims of infringement or misleading advertising.

10. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction

We may change these terms in the future. Changes apply to new orders from the date they are published on this page. For running monthly plans, they apply from the next billing period after we have notified you by email at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before they take effect.

If any provision is invalid, the rest of these terms remains in force. These terms and any contract under them are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the operator's seat in [POSTCODE CITY], Canton of [CANTON], Switzerland. We may also bring proceedings at your registered seat.
